  • Mujeres del Vino Mexicano

    Two women of Mexican Wine

Tru Miller and Lulú Martínez, Bruma's winemaker, two women of Mexican Wine, share a very special story.

Tru was struck by a medal that Lulu always wears, a jewelry piece like a coin from Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands.

This piece is a representative insignia of the resistance to World War II. Tru, originally from that country, has a similar piece and was very pleased to find that two women, who make wine in Mexico, are holders of this historical insignia.

  • El Nopal Morado de Adobe… ¿sabías?

    PURPLE CACTUS IN ADOBE… REALLY?

In front of our store we have two purple cactus plants from the Zona del Silencio, a desert shared with the states of Chihuahua, Coahuila and Durango, and there is a legend about the origin of its color.

It is said that there are UFOs and that in the area there is a magnetic cone that causes ionizations in the atmosphere, blocking radio waves; in addition, it is believed that after the crash of NASA’s Athena rocket in 1970 and the arrival of help from the Americans, without giving any explanation, there may be something they left.
